Because I’ve been attending Trump rallies all summer, I’m on the text list. Here are all the texts Trump sent me this weekend. He’s like me when, long ago, I was a broken-hearted ex-girlfriend who couldn’t take the hint to leave my ex alone (sorry, ex-boyfriends, if you’re reading…I regret bothering you like that. sigh).

An interesting thing about this next one is that, as of the time of writing, there is no Butler rally on the schedule. Is this an old text from July that got stuck before that ill-fated rally and just made it to me? Or do I have a scoop about a new rally planned for Butler? (I clicked the link but there’s no information about the event)

I’m trying to imagine that “Jen, please.” in a pleading Trump voice, but I can’t do it. I can’t hear Trump with a pleading voice.
